Arpit Sharma: Founder of Weink & Creatick Studios, Thriving at $20K/Month

Arpit Sharma is an Entrepreneur & a technologist who started his work life in 2012. He has earned a Master’s in Technology and is further planning for a Doctorate in International Business.

Arpit is a powerful brand builder with two successful ventures and many more to come in 2021, majorly emphasizing technology, e-commerce, and wellness.

At such a young age, he has traveled to many countries, explored multiple ethnicities, and explored a lifestyle that many of us dream of. He is also an author with a motivational title published on Amazon and another one planned to arrive this year.

Could you please tell our readers a brief background about yourself and how you started your business?

I am a smart worker and someone who strongly believes in dreams! Everyone should set some goals in their lives and work towards achieving them. For me, it is no fun just watching others climb up the ladder. I get inspired and work for myself.

I started working for MNCs just like most of us do, but gradually realized I was not made for it. There was no motivation, and I was just working for the benefit of someone else.

Hence, came the big step of quitting that life and doing something that I felt I really belonged to. As I got more and more knowledge about brand building, Creative came to life, and then WeInk was my first step into the e-commerce industry.

How did you get started in your industry?

Creativity is one thing I have religiously followed since childhood. I jumped into the brand-building industry in 2016 when I realized that every company and every brand in the world is built upon these prime pillars: research, design, content & marketing.

That was when I started self-learning each one of them and eventually ended up mastering all of them.

Where did the idea for Creative & Wink come from?

Creative Studio was launched back in 2016. Initially, I was the whole organization myself. I was working as the Founder, the designer, the content creator, the developer, and the marketer. In 2017, my projects grew rapidly and that was when I expanded the venture and took it to the next level.

Weink (We Ink) is an E-commerce clothing brand founded last year. After vigorous research in the Indian clothing market, we decided to bring the first-ever purely minimal unisex clothing brand to the country. We are all set to start exporting it this year.

As an entrepreneur, what is it that actually motivates and drives you?

The only thing that has always motivated me and will continue to do so is – Competition. I am truly inspired by people who are at the level I want to be at. They are my teachers and the biggest motivation for me to achieve my milestones.

What social media platforms do you usually use to increase your brand’s awareness and why?

The two leading platforms I use to market my e-commerce brands are- Facebook & Instagram. For my brand-building studio, they are- Instagram, Behance & Dribbble.

What is your experience with paid advertising, like PPC or sponsored content campaigns? Does it work?

I would say, most of the time, paid social media ads are the only things you need to sell your brand and get leads. You just need to know how it is done. And once you set it up correctly, you may never require a secondary marketing platform.

What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?

That would be back in 2014 – I wish someone would have told me about Bitcoin that early 🙂

What excites you most about your industry? Where do you see it heading in the near future?

Never-ending growth is what excites me the most about my industry. I planned my ventures keeping in mind the maximum probability of success and I forecast a turnover of $80k-$100k by 2022.

What is one piece of advice you still remember that has practically changed your life?

My parents changed my life. My father always told me that a coin (life) has two sides: it could either be a head (success) or a tail (failure). Just keep flipping and “Never Settle”. Time always changes!!

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

Ten times what I am right now- both in knowledge and net worth. Many more successful ventures, a larger team, and financial freedom.

What advice would you give to a newbie Entrepreneur setting up their first business?

The advice I give the most is to always start at level zero. Just forget about investing and keep writing down your ideas. Do vigorous research and see where the market is heading in that specific domain.

You always need to project a timeline to get to the break-even point before investing and be prepared for a financial backup plan to hold your venture for a specific amount of time.

The other advice would be to learn the basic tactics yourself and spend time knowing your industry structure. Always keep in mind that the best output for your business plan can come only from you!!
